There was a piece in one of the dailies here about how miserably we book translators are paid. This is true, I imagine, but we do it anyway.

Yes we do it, and it's a hard job for a lousy pay. The only ones who's worse paid than us, are - uh, writers ... - This writer - and translator - is very happy for the amazing job you do for (almost) nothing. Thanks!

Same here, Dorthe. As for money matters, editors of course get paid more than us, but who'd want their job?
